Winter seems to be dragging on and on and on around here. We keep getting a glimpse of spring, just to have it yanked away by Mother Nature. In my feeble attempt to try to force spring to stick around, today for Monday Craft Madness I used Pebbles Inc. Front Porch to create a sign. This way I can at least look at something that reminds me of spring….. So today’s theme is:
Alter It!
Create something altered, show off your skills or your favorite altered project. You can alter anything! Here’s what I created:
I found a wooden block and wooden letters at my local craft store. I painted the edges white and covered the block and letters using the papers from the Front Porch collection. I love how the colors of the papers are so bold they seem to bounce off the white background.
The cute sayings on the cardstock stickers are a great reminder to keep laughter and love in your life.
I have always been love with the ‘Chips’ from Pebbles Inc. They add dimension and color to your projects with ease. All of these flowers and birds just make me smile.
This project only took about an hour start to finish, now we have spring in our house even if we can’t have it outside.
